I have been a part of the Department of Mathematics at Universitas Gadjah Mada since 2002, and currently serve as a full professor in the field of Discrete Mathematics, with a focus on Graph Theory. It has been a great privilege to grow and contribute within an academic environment that values integrity, collaboration, and continuous learning.
After completing my undergraduate and master's degrees at UGM, I pursued my doctoral studies at the University of Potsdam, Germany, supported by a DAAD scholarship. I received my Dr.rer.nat. degree in 2013. My research initially focused on Semigroup Theory and has since expanded to various topics in Graph Theory, including total edge irregular labelling and algebraic graphs built from groups, rings, and semigroups.
I remain committed to supporting students, collaborating with colleagues, and contributing—however small—to the development of mathematics and higher education in Indonesia.
