Pandu
is a lecturer at the Faculty of Forestry UGM. He accomplished bachelor’s and
master’s study from Universitas Gadjah Mada with different fields, i.e. silviculture
and forest conservation. Before becoming a lecturer, he spent his professional
career in some institutions, including non-government organization and private
company. His first career began in 2014 by becoming a mangrove researcher. He
had a responsibility to investigate the mangrove dynamics in Flores Island. In
2016, He continued his career as a sustainability staff in oil palm plantation
wherein he had to recover the condition of high conservation value area. In
2018, He joined with plantation forest company as a silviculture researcher who
had a main job to conduct a research about eucalyptus development. In 2020, He
became a member of the Forest Biometric Lab UGM. His research interest is
related to quantitative silviculture, reforestation, and forest mensuration.
Besides becoming a lecturer, He also becomes a Co.Fouder and Chief Technical
Officer in PT Aerotek Global Inovasi and PT Lumbung Sejahtera. In 2022, He will
continue his doctoral study in USA at the NREM Department, UH Manoa
