Mgs.
Muh. Prima Putra was born in Sleman,
Yogyakarta Indonesia. He graduated from Fish Product Technology Study Program,
Department of Fisheries, Universitas Gadjah
Mada in 2007 and subsequently continue
his Master Degree in Master Program in Food and Science Technology,
Universitas Gadjah
Mada and graduated in 2010. His
Undergraduate Thesis theme was on the utilization of Artemia
salina
as source of protein for food, while his Master Thesis theme was the
characterization of physical and chemical properties of protein from Chalophyllum inophyllum cake. For his Doctoral degree, he
decided to switch from biochemistry to biotechnology by pursued a Doctoral
Degree Program at Department of Biotechnology, The University of Tokyo, Japan,
and got his Ph.D. in 2019 with the research theme studies on secondary
metabolites pathway in Streptomyces sp.
He
join Fish Product Technology Study Program, Department of Fisheries Universitas
Gadjah Mada
as a Lecture in 2012. Until now, he actively teaching several subjects e.g. chemistry
and biochemistry of
fisheries products,
quality control of fishery products,
basic fish microbiology, microbiology
of fisheries products and introduction to fisheries
biotechnology in undergraduate and master program. His
research interest is on bioactive peptide derived from fish fermented food and
fish protein hydrolysate and its bioactivity in food system.
