Milda Longgeita Pinem is an associate professor and researcher in the Department of Social Development and Welfare at the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences at Universitas Gadjah Mada, Indonesia. She holds a Bachelor of Arts (S.Sos) in Social Development and Welfare from Universitas Gadjah Mada, a Master of Political Science (M.A.) from the same university, and a Ph.D. in Gender Studies from the University of Hull, England, United Kingdom. She teaches courses at the undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral levels. Her research interests are in the areas of feminism, gender, empowerment, feminist theology, and spirituality.
