Muh Arif Rokhman is a lecturer in the English Studies Programme at the Department of Language and Literature of the Faculty  of Cultural Sciences at Universitas Gadjah Mada, Indonesia. His research interest include literary theory, psychoanalytic criticism, comparative literature. He has edited two books on comparative literature (in Indonesian language); Interdisciplinary Literature (Qalam, 2003) and Politics of Comparative Literature (Aditya Media dan Forum Sastra Banding;  2008) and published a book entitled Indonesian Islamic Fiction in the 21st Century (UAD Press; 2022).
