ABSTRACT
The technical requirements given by the government with the ISM frequency in the field are not adhered to by the user. The user uses more power than 100mW and even use frequencies outside the range allowed. It is apparently a problem for the government and us, the Ministry of Communication and Informatics got into trouble when localizing wireless users who violate the rules. It makes the authors conducted a study to find a more precise method to find wireless users of 2.4 GHz who do not comply with government regulations. Research activities at the beginning were building a data logging method of radio signal strength within a database, the purpose of predicting the distance between an access point with a wireless station using it. To store data of radio signal strength from Finder into MySQL database using HTML and PHP based programming system. Primary data stored in the database radio signal strength (RSS), the real distance, antenna height, coordinates and altitude measuring device. The results of the measurements made in the field and then put through a web-based system to be graphed and made a prediction formula with regression method.
