| Abstrak/Abstract |
Revenue management has evolved into an
essential framework methodology over several decades, as it
pertains to actively managing demand and can increase a
company's profits. One way to achieve this is by applying a
combination carrier. This paper presents a structured
literature review analyzing studies on combination carriers
in airline revenue management to discover emerging
research trends and topics, using cluster analysis to
determine the direction of future research. The study
deploys a comprehensive bibliometric analysis of 468 papers
from 2008 to 2023. Using comprehensive tools from
bibliometric analysis, we identify emerging research clusters,
conduct topological analysis, explore key research topics,
and network collaboration. Systematic graphical mapping
helps evaluate research publications over the period
explored and directions for future research. The findings of
this paper also guide the layout of a strategic plan for future
research studies in the field |
