This study aims to develop the entrance to the village of Wirun through the tourist railroad. The railroad's use to answer Wirun Village is one of the most well-known tourist villages in Sukoharjo due to its tourism potentials. This village is located in Mojolaban District and has easy access because of its accessibility from the cities of Solo and Wonogiri, which just one kilometer away from Solo City. The track using the railroad is expected to be an alternative tourist route and is a location visited by many local and foreign tourists. One of the greatest potentials that made Wirun known globally was the creation of gamelan crafts by villagers. Besides gamelan, handicrafts cultivated as residents' livelihoods are jumputan cloth crafts that have been exported abroad; puppet papercrafts; keris crafts; tile crafts; wooden batik crafts; and green paddy landscapes, which have more potential as a tourist attraction. The method developed in this study is (1) Reconstruction Concept: i.e., an attempt to restore a place that is similar to the original condition, using old or new materials, according to known historical information (2) Revitalization or adaptation concepts, namely changing buildings and environment so that it can be utilized for more suitable functions. The results of the study show that the Design Concept: reconstruction, revitalization, and adaptation: Wirun Station with the type of Railroad Batara Kresna Solo Wonogiri Railway is referring to local wisdom, as well as oriented to the provision of green land, green and pedestrian lines, zoning that connects several tourist attraction points. The existence of a zoning system: suitable for development are station zoning, pedestrian zoning, and green lane, youth activities zoning of Wirun Village, homestay zoning, and zoning of gamelan industry. |
