Abstrak/Abstract Thethermal-hydraulicsperformanceandstabilityflowusingAl2O3nanofluids inanopennatural circulation loophasbeeninvestigated.Experimentswereconductedwithagradual increaseinheatingpowerfrom880W upto1350W.TheworkingfluidusedAl2O3withvariationsof0.025wt%,0.05wt%,and0.1wt%.Thetwo phaseflowpatternwas observedusing1 fps rangemacrophotos. PSD(power spectral density) andDWT (discretewavelet transform) signalprocessingwereusedtoanalyzethethermal-hydraulicsperformanceand flowstabilitythatoccurredduringtheexperiments.Theresultshowsthat therearethreetypesofoscillations werefoundintheobservationsbasedonheatingpower,intermittentoscillationwithexpulsion-refill-incubation stages, sinusoidaloscillationwithexpulsionandrefill stages,andhighsubcoolingstableflowcirculationwith onlyonecontinuousrefillstage.PSDandDWTanalysisprovidedsolidagreementbetweenthetemperaturesignal andthermal-hydraulicsperformanceandflowstability
