The excessive application of chemical insecticides for insect pest management known to have side effects. Biological control agents are safe, effective, and environmentally friendly alternatives for chemical insecticides. Ultraviolet is the main delimiting factor for the persistence of biological agents. The addition of additives in formulation has important role for the protection of biological agents. Natural products of fruits, leaves, oils, flowers, and other plant parts are potential for the additives as ultraviolet protectant, UV absorbents, and surfactants. Screening and bioassay of natural additives which cheap and biodiversity –based are the challenge for developing the long lasting biological control agents’ persistence.
