Abstrak/Abstract The teaching method for Parametric Design course in UGM in 2018 has undergone a throughout revolution with the implementation of flipped classroom and blended learning method that significantly improve the academic outcome quality and student learning experience. Currently, the course is being adjusted into a Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) model as a strategy to disseminate the teaching pedagogy for a broader range of participants in 2019 through a partnership between UGM and UTY. In practice, a deep understanding of parametric thinking will be introduced as the core of the course that will help students in mastering further competencies towards a comprehension applicative understanding of parametric design. Furthermore, local instructor in each institution will play a key role in ensuring the optimum performance of learning activity and evaluating the implementation of learning method in real-time. Finally, the unique mixture of several teaching methods integrated into the course is expected to improve the quality of parametric design learning through MOOC model. Therefore, it is important to follow up overall parametric design skill of students who would have completed the course in the future to thoroughly understand how the method can be improved to better contribute towards the teaching quality of parametric design for architecture student.
