The aim of this research is to develop a groundwater vulnerability map at Morangan area of Sleman regency. DRASTIC method was used to develop a vulnerability map. This method consists of five parameters, such as depth of water, net recharge, aquifer media, top impact of vadose water and hydraulic conductivity aquifer. All parameters will be analysis by weighting and rating method.
Result of mapping showed two types of map are intrinsic vulnerability and specific vulnerability maps. Overlaying between intrinsic vulnerability and landuse maps developed the specific vulnerability map. Those entire maps divided into five zones based on their characteristic. The maps will be used to maintain the groundwater quality based on their vulnerability from the contaminant. |
