There is a function switch to fulfil human needs, which tends to decrease the function of the surrounding environment to cause a disaster. Almost every year, the Bogowonto watershed has drought and flood disasters. It indicates a problem with the function of the water infiltration into the ground (infiltration). This research aims to know the water recharge area condition in the Bogowonto watershed seen from natural infiltration (potential) and actual infiltration. The factors that affect water infiltration, such as rainfall, slope, soil type, and land use, are combined to analyze the infiltration conditions. The method used is scoring and overlaying the parameter with the help of the Geographic Information System. The result of the analysis is that the Bogowonto watershed has moderate potential infiltration of 25712.8 Ha (43.16%) and has a rather big stage of actual infiltration of 39145.5 (65.55%). Meanwhile, the water recharge area condition of the Bogowonto watershed is dominated by good conditions covering an area of 37496 Ha (62.96%). |
