The corona virus pandemic has affected every industrial sector, and the construction industry is no exception. Construction project teams have been experiencing various disruptions due to the pandemic. Project team needs to develop concepts and methods of dealing with unexpected situations. In order to survive, the construction industry may need to practice the concept of resilience. A literature review suggests there are few studies on team resilience that focus
on construction projects. Therefore, research is necessary to explore the conceptual realms of construction project team resilience. This study aims to develop a theoretical framework that establishes the interrelationships between determinants, team resilience, and project performance. The latest relevant theories on resilience are reviewed and adopted for the framework development. Ultimately the new framework could be used for subsequent empirical studies.
