This research examines how John Dewey’s axiological approach on education changed Merdeka Curriculum teaching practices. Case study research, in-depth teacher interviews, and curricular material analysis. The results showed that Dewey's axiological method,which stresses experience as the source of learning, democratic principles, experimentation, and reflection, has changed instructors teaching techniques. Teachers who apply Dewey’s perspective use the Merdeka Curriculum context better, create more relevant learning experiences, and help students understand moral and social values and improve their academic competencies in student-centered and experiential learning.
