One type of career options that are now beginning to demand among young workers is a career as a self-employed or professional. The number of workers in this classification can be observed from the development and expansion of job titles career map is written in the status of the work in cyberspace. It’s not surprising that today many are known by various terms that are new career as an independent-trainer, a professional-photographer, web-designer, a career-consultant, travel writer or professional, broadcaster, finance-consultant, professional architect, management-consultant for personality and self performance. Such a career choice does not depend on the linkages organization directly. The perpetrators of independent career choice is not an employee of a business organization, but carrying out their profession by relying on the ability of self and relationship development. In theory, this career path as a career choice and career into individual properties rather than as property organization (Feldman & Arnold, 1986). Nasolm (2009) says, an independent career or a career as a properties individual better known as infinite career. This can be understood, as the greatest power depend on the willingness ourselves to developing science and professionalism in carrying out the role of an independent career as an actor. Holders of career control over the self-capacity and willingness to develop the profession are practiced. Based on the results of research conducted with qualitative basis, it
appears that the choice of a career as a self employed capable of giving meaning and their own happiness for the perpetrators. The significance lies in the significance in them with their added ability to do the job as well as the usefulness to others. While happiness is focused on satisfaction in carrying out the work in accordance with the passion and satisfaction in living life to the profession is practiced. All that became the basis of the development of the concept of Quality of Work Life. |
