The purpose of obtain a description of the factors that encourage the emergence of sexual behavior promiscuity and its impact on male adolescent in Wirobrajan, Yogyakarta. A case study was conducted in this study. The subject selection was done by snowball sampling technique. The data were collected by observation in August 2013. Research showed that first, the influence of peer group or peers is very dominant in the behavior of teen promiscuity. Secondly, the lack of adolescent awareness about the dangers of promiscuity behavior, pleasurable orientation and great curiosity triggers teen promiscuity behavior by exploiting loopholes of rules and lack of control. Third, self-belief and experience of the impact of promiscuity behaviors become the dominant factor so that teenagers who do not behave promiscuity do not repeat the behavior. Fourth, the impact of juvenile promiscuity behavior among others ostracized, gonnorhea, syphilis, genital herpes and other sexually transmitted diseases. This study contributes to our understanding that it takes supervision from various sectors and enforcement of regulations so that the behavior and impact of promiscuity can be minimized. Supervision of teenagers association will have an impact on adolescent behavior. |
