Currently science and technology lead on human health research, especially on nutrition biomedical research. Research on nutrition, nowadays, also get interested in molecular on how nutrition enacts the gene expression on human, known as nutrigenomic. In Indonesia, especially Yogyakarta, nutrigenomic is a new path of developing science, and it is not too familiar among student especially on High School grade. Nutrigenomic is a multidiscipline from Biology and Chemistry aspect giving a new insight on how the chemical compound enforce human health by repairing the metabolic aspect. In collaboration with Musyawarah Guru Mata Pelajaran (MGMP) of Biology and Chemistry in Yogyakarta City, we invite them to discern about nutrigenomic. In this program, we use presentation, tutorial, laboratory practice, and training of trainer (ToT) to deliver. From this program, we obtained significantly different (p<0.05) after this training and seminar delivered to teachers in MGMP by using pre- and post-test method. |
