The gas concentrations of acetone as a biomarker gas have measured from exhaled gas of breathing of healthy volunteers and diabetes mellitus patient’s in the disease in ward General Hospital of Dr. Sardjito Yogyakarta. The measurement was made using a CO2 laser based photoacoustic spectrometer that has been built in Lab. of Atomic-Physics, Physics Dept. UGM. The Results from the measurement of concentrations of gas acetone can be seen clearly differences between volunteers healthy and patients.
