Abstrak/Abstract
This quantitative research has intended to investigate the role of organizational support and individual capacity of social extension workers’ performance. The successful of those performance has been measured on social participation on social development. The research has expected to gain a kind of model of social participation in social welfare programs, through social worker’s performance, individual capacity and organizational support. The research is a quantitative survey. Data has been analized through AMOS program. Data were collected in a survey using four instruments measuring competence, organizational support, worker performance and community participation. The study found that organizational support has positive and significant association with social extension workers’ performance. The association betwen social extension workers’ performance and community participation was also found to be positive and significant. Perfomance of social extension workers was found to be a moderating factors as it mediate organizational support to community participation.
