Acidic soils are classified as marginal with low availability of P. It caused solubility of Al in the soil is high. Phosphate ions in the form of H2PO4- dan HPO42- are adsorbed by the oxides of Al and Fe. Inceptisols is one of the acid soils in Indonesia. Soybean is a plant that is susceptible to problems in acid soil. This study aims to determine the growth of soybean plants on acid soil, the application of humic acid and dolomite on the availability of P in acid soil and P uptake in soybean plants. This research used was carried out in the greenhouse of the Faculty of Agriculture, Gadjah Mada University. Soil sample for planting taken in the village of Rebug, Kemiri, Purworejo. The research used a factorial Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with 2 factors and a 3 replicated design. Plants were carried out every week until the maximum vegetative phase. The treathment of humic acid gave significantly different results for available P, P-uptake, canopy dry weight, and canopy dry weight while dolomite application gave significantly different results at pH KCl and Aldd. Humic acid dose of 15% from NPK dose gave the highest available P, but dolomite was not able to significantly increase available P. The combination of treatment with humic acid dose of 15% of the dose of NPK and dolomite began to improve yields on plant growth parameters. |
