Calibration has been successfully applied to a centrifuge using a standard tachometer. Calibration
is the process of determining instrument or system and the applicable unit of same defined system of
measurement. The concept of calibration is simple. Essentially, calibration is a process comparison
between the tools tested by standard tools. Calibration is important to knows uncertainty, performance
and improve the quality of measurement results and trust. This study aims to determine the factors that
affect calibration centrifuge. The influence of temperature, sampling rate and reproducibility became the
focus of this study. The results showed that temperature variations of 00C, 100C and 200C did not show
significant differences in values. The sampling rate variation also does not show much different values.
However, with a detailed sampling rate will show better data. The result of reproducibility on temperature
variations and sampling rate shows a significant difference in deviation measurement value. The results
can be input into the centrifuge calibration process. |
