| Abstrak/Abstract | This study aims to determine the perceptions of the community and village government regarding the management of the Parangtritis Beach area in relation to The research method which is a combination research (qualitative and quantitative). The research was conducted in the Parangtritis Beach area from May to October 2020. Qualitative data were obtained from Parangtritis Beach managers, while quantitative data were obtained from tourists with 156 respondents. Data collection was carried out by observation, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. Data analysis was performed using qualitative and quantitative analysis. The results showed that the management of the Parangtritis Beach tourism area that had been operated by the village government cover 2 fields, which is the arrangement of the area and the environment. The arrangement of the area with the concept of structuring and revitalization reaches 60% and management in the environmental aspect reaches 80%. This shows that most of the management is in accordance with the governance and structuring principles of tourism areas in the aspect of revitalization. Based on this, it can be concluded that the highest perception of village government is in the medium category, this shows that the management of the Parangtritis coastal area in the revitalization and management aspects has not been managed optimally. |
