In this paper we work on weakly second submodules of a module over anoncommutative ring. As a dualization of weakly prime submodules, some resultsare obtained by dualizing some results in weakly prime submodules. Moreover, thenotion of weakly second submodule is also a generalization of second submodule, andso in a certain situation we generalize some properties in second (sub)modules intoweakly second (sub)modules. Some previous results on weakly second submodulesover commutative rings are also extended to noncommutativesituation. Furthermore,we also have investigated the characterizations of weakly second submodules.
