Abstrak/Abstract A torsion-free module M over an integral domain D is said to be (strongly) completely integrally closed module (abbreviated as (S)CIC) if every integral submodule (non-zero submodule) U of M has D as its order. We introduce a definition of almost-integral and pseudo-integral scalars to study (S)CIC modules from the point of view of their elements and their scalars. It is shown that a D-module is (strongly) CIC iff all of its pseudo-integral (almost-integral) scalars are contained in D.
