Utilizing the Islamic Social Entrepreneurship perspective, this paper develops a model of Nazhir (Waqf manager) competencies. A systematic literature review approach is used to gather and analyze the data. There is 23 selected literature used to synthesize the concept of competence of nazhir waqf related to their skill, expertise, performance and professionalism. The result shows that there are four main competencies of professional Nazhir, namely Islamic spiritual competence, Islamic financial competence, Islamic business managerial competence, and Islamic social entrepreneurship competence. Finally, the paper also discusses how the model can be utilized in future research as well as proposed for practical implementation. |
