Sawtooth signal modulation technique on FMCW radar gives better range of detection and Doppler effect resistance than Triangle signal modulation. Despite its advantages, Sawtooth modulation reduces FMCW radar detection capability and SNR which mainly inflicted by instantaneous changes from upper frequency to lower one, which commonly called as No-Dwell sweep. In this study, a special signal processing method is applied to detect and mitigate the effect of Sawtooth signal modulation. This developed method has been tested on INDERA-MX4 coastal radar to see the rate of signal improvement. This signal processing method is proven to improve target detection probability and SNR
