. Fuel consumption and the output power of coal-fired power plants with a capacity of 3 × 300 MW, powered by a pulverized coal-fired boiler in Indramayu, Indonesia were analyzed the compared in the present study. Analysis of the plant’s cost efficiency was constructed with indicators in the present study such as operating fuel consumption, power output, nett plant heat rate (NHPR), and cost reduction potency were used to analyze the cost-efficiency. Results show that based on the calculation of the 50%, 75%, 100%, and 100% commissioning load, cost efficiency can be acquired with US$ 26.000. with NPHR of 2.895,55 kCal/kWh, US$ 46.780. with NPHR of 2.781,45 kCal/kWh, US$ 71.580. with NPHR 2.668,62 kCal/kWh, and US$ 86.500. with NPHR 2.463,34 kCal/kWh. Based on the research conducted, reasonable efficiency can be achieved and the value of NPHR can be reduced with the load percentages increased |
