This study examines the extent to landscape ecology and attractiveness of the natural environment in the area of tourism in the region north of Yogyakarta. Yogyakarta region north has objects and natural tourism attraction of the venture capital in the development footprint of tourism in the region north of Yogyakarta. Component footprint compatibility and attractiveness level environment is one of the most important factors to determine the level of potential indicators of environmental compatibility evaluators and attractiveness of the region so that the characteristics and distribution pattern of the attractiveness and harmony of nature tourism region can be known. The results showed a landscape level ecological harmony and attractiveness of the environment after the 2010 eruption had a significant amount of the index so that the higher the quality of the natural environment (physical) and social (human and socio economic culture), the higher the level of harmony and attractiveness of the region. Landscape ecology establish harmony between the social component (population) and the natural environment (bio-physical) condition that they form a potential tourist attraction at the site of nature tourism in the region north of Yogyakarta.
