Abstrak/Abstract The MALE-UAV (Medium Altitude Long Endurance-Unmanned Aerial Vehicle) has a very important role for surveillance, guarding, and resource mapping missions. The engineering of the MALE-UAV requires a structural strength testing process to prove its ability to meet the task. The MALE-UAV structural strength testing machine uses a hydraulic system to carry out the loading to specimen. In this paper, the reliability of the controller using Type-1 Fuzzy PID and Interval Type-2 Fuzzy PID to control Electro-Hydraulic Servo Valve (EHSV) which is useful for regulating the amount of oil flow in a hydraulic system of structural testing machine was discussed. Simulation was carried out by adding artificial noise signals to the measurement signal. Simulation results were confirmed by comparing the ITAE and ITSE values between PID, Type-1 Fuzzy PID (T1FPID), and Interval Type-2 Fuzzy PID (IT2FPID) controllers. The results of the simulation using MATLAB Simulink show that the use of IT2FPID controller is better than other controllers in controlling EHSV. IT2FPID with a Lower Lag value of 0.9 has the best performance in simulating a Multi-Step Ramp signal in the presence of measurement noise, with an ITAE value of 2.4177 and an ITSE value of 0.0201.
