This study investigates the determinants affecting
household intentions in Indonesia to adopt solar power
systems through a systematic literature review (SLR) using
the PRISMA framework. Based on the analysis of 17 relevant
articles, the study identifies economic, regulatory, social,
environmental, and technical factors as key drivers of the
adoption intentions of rooftop solar photovoltaic (RSPV)
systems. Economic and regulatory factors dominate, with
high initial investment costs and evolving government
regulations critically impacting household decisions to
embrace solar energy. Social, environmental, and technical
influences also play a significant role, yet they remain closely
intertwined with economic and regulatory considerations.
The findings offer strategic insights for policymakers aiming
to enhance RSPV adoption and achieve Indonesia's
renewable energy targets.
