Abstrak/Abstract This study aims to determine the exterior and morphometric characteristics of Bali, Angus × Bali and Ongole Grade (OG) × Bali cattle kept by the farmers in Kuamang Kuning Sub-district, Bungo District, Jambi Province Eleven cattle aged 6-9 months consisting of 3 Bali, 5 Angus x Bali and 3 OG x Bali cattle were used to assess the exterior characteristics of cattle done through direct observation of qualitative properties, then analyzed descriptively on body color, the color of hair end tail, telau on the buttocks and the presence or absence of horns. The morphometric measurements were performed with digital imaging techniques, including: body length, height of girth, chest deep, os scapula, humerus, radius-ulna, metatarsus, femur, tibia-fibula, metacarpus, vertebrae cervical, vertebrae lumbal, vertebrae caudal, the ratio of body length to height of girth and the ratio of height girth to deep of chest. It concluded that exterior characteristics of Bali, Angus x Bali, and OG x Bali age 6-9 months were: Bali cattle had reddish brown body color and Angus x Bali had reddish, OG x Bali had white reddish gray, a white butt on Bali cattle and OG x Bali and brown color on Angus x Bali cattle. Bali and Angus x Bali had a black back line and reddish color on OG x Bali; hair of tail end color was black on Angus x Bali, it was reddish on OG x Bali cattle. There were horns on Bali and OG x Bali. From morphometric characteristic, body of Angus x Bali cattle was higher than OG x Bali and Bali cattle. Also, Angus x Bali cattle had a ratio of body length: girth heigh relatively the same (1.05) with deep chest, and had a body weight hevier followed by OG x Bali; Bali cattle had the least weight.
