Dynamic pricing strategy is a well-known method for utility pricing used in many parts of the world and is
rapidly growing in trend due to its ability to adjust utility pricing to the utmost real-time calculations. One such
method is what we call Time-of-Use (TOU), a strategy that adjusted pricing using the off-peak and on-peak
demand. This strategy is usually presented in a daily time period whereas the adjustments of TOU pricing
have been predetermined, most notably by the provider of utility. This paper presents systematic literature re
view about implementation of TOU, challenge in implementation of TOU, and potential use of TOU for house
hold customer in Indonesia. In this review, we look for any research gaps that can be found surrounding this topic
to be further addressed on any following research. We also look for the driver and barriers for implementing our
focus review. |
