Land use changes, urban growth areas changes into non-green urban areas grow the city’s own dynamics. Remote sensing
imagery has advantages in both spatially and spectral. It can be supported for dynamic land analyzing. Worldview imagery has
founded by digital globe foundation became main data for this study. Remote Sensing multitemporal data for detecting and
extracting green open space (RTH) and non-green open space (RTNH) in urban areas was the aim of this study to provide
recommendations regarding the availability of RTH and RTNH in urban areas. In general, public open space in the urban
area consists of Green Open Space (RTH) and Open Space Non-Green space (RTNH). The proportion of 30% is a minimal
composition for making ecosystem balance in the city, harmonizing of the hydrological system and equalizing of microclimates,
as well as other ecological systems that can increase the availability of clean air that is needed by the community, as well as
to increase the aesthetic value of the city. RTH and RTNH are needed by the community in an effort to save the environment.
The results of this study show that the availability of green open space and RTNH in Kecamatan Danurejan, Yogyakarta city
is still very low at 15.44% for RTH availability and 12.07% for RTNH. |
