Abstrak/Abstract The increase of energy demand, lead to the innovation of generating clean energy for human needs. Organic Rankine cycle is an alternative system to generate clean energy. Alternative systems are needed to fulfill the energy demand. Organic Rankine cycle offers many advantages. The remarkable potential of Organic Rankine cycle has attracted the attention of several researchers. Many factors can be developed in Organic Rankine cycle topics, such as organic working fluid, heat production, and its applications. A suitable study is needed to understand research about organic Rankine cycle better. In this study, publication and scientometric analysis were carried out to gain a clear future research direction. The Scopus database was used to collect the publication articles with high relevance to organic Rankine cycle topics. China is the most dominating country, with 138 articles, followed by Iran. VOSviewer software provided the network visualization, clustered key-words, and overlay key-words. The organic Rankine cycle key-word has the most link and link strength towards other key-words. Rankine cycle, geothermal, and waste heat are separated in each cluster. Each cluster formed can be distinguished by its color. The organic working fluid is the most promising topic in future based on overlay visualization
