Yogyakarta City is the city with the highest population density in DIY Province. Population density needs to be used to build the city, one of the methods is by applying the concept of compact city and creative city. That way, we need research about the correlation between urban compactness level with urban creativity level in Yogyakarta City. In this research, the researcher will look for the urban creativity level Yogyakarta City and its correlation with the urban compactness level of the Yogyakarta City by statistical analysis using Pearson's Correlation Coefficient. The result of this research shows that the creativity level of Yogyakarta City goes into the middle classification. The correlation between urban compactness level with urban creativity level in Yogyakarta City shows a positive correlation with medium strength.Therefore, if the urban compactness level increases, then urban creativity level will also increase, and vice versa. |
