Abstrak/Abstract We report the dynamic characteristics of the seismic noise on Merapi Volcano preceeding the great eruption of October 26, 2010 by quantitatively measure their randomness. It has been reported that a reduction of noise randomeness can be used as a short term precursor to volcanic activity.
