IHCM prepared in 1997 and until now has never been updated, so there will be big possibility for the changing of the parameter value including base capacity of road, to prove the allegations, a research conducted which is located on Affandi Street of Yogyakarta City, Indonesia and the traffic condition have been analyzed by using PTV Vissim software. Five scenarios of desired speed distributions model have been tested and found if the value of base capacity that produced by the top 85th percentile desired speed distribution curve model is the most suitable value of Indonesia condition.
