AYO ANGON is a project providing training and mentoring for rural unemployed youth through the livestock sector. The pilot project will be carried out in Ngalang Village, Gunungkidul Regency, Yogyakarta Province, Indonesia. This village is the poorest in Yogyakarta Province with a high unemployment rate. AYO ANGON program consists of the organization structure formation of youth farmer group, livestock management training, feed and organic fertilizer production, building sheep extensive farming, and digital branding training for livestock program. AYO ANGON collaborates with local government, local bank, university, and also media of agriculture and livestock in Indonesia. The objectives of AYO ANGON project is to create the farmer young generation who have the skills to manage a profitable and sustainable farm. |
