Pasaran Island is a separate land system with minimal groundwater resources. The small amount of groundwater becomes very vulnerable to loss due to the high concentration of contaminants in the environment and the influence of seawater. The objectives of this research are: to analyse the availability of groundwater and domestic water needs in Pasaran Island. Groundwater availability investigations were assessed using the static water availability method. Investigation of domestic water demand is assessed using a secondary data-based method utilizing survey data from the Director-General of Water Resources of the Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing of Indonesia. The results showed that the availability of groundwater in Pasaran Island was 179359.74 liters per year, while the safe yield for groundwater that could be extracted per year was 14072.84 liters or 38.5 liters per day. Domestic water demand on Pasaran Island in 2020 based on the results of the analysis is 74040 liters per day, so it can be concluded that the potential for groundwater availability to support domestic water needs on Pasaran Island is bad. Rainwater harvesting-based management efforts are the right choice on a small island scale.
