Pneumatic conveying dryer (PCD) or a flash dryer is widely used for drying flour materials, but requires recirculation process of materials. This study has designed pneumatic conveying recirculated dryer (PCRD) LPG-fueled. The purpose of this study was to analyze the value of specific energy utilization (SEU) and the thermal efficiency of the drying process on the PCRD machine. SEU value and thermal efficiency can be determined by methods of mathematical analysis. The average value of energy fuel gas (E and electrical energy (E used) or 427.78 seconds (7.13 minutes) was 945.80 M and 1074.24 M, so that the fuel gas obtained power of 23.047 Mps at a flow rate of hot air dryer (q,) of 17.29 M/s. Results of the analysis showed that the value of the average SEU and thermal efficiency obtained is 10735.29 Mfg and 76.73%. This indicates that the machine PCRD has decent performance used in the drying process the materials of flour.
