nvestigation of Antifungal (
C. albicans
) activity of 6 plants empirically used as antivaginamycosistraditional medicines had been conducted. Those plants were temu giring rhizomes, parsley fruits, sambilotoherbs, tapak liman roots, beluntas leaves, and delima pericarps. The essential oil parsley fruit showed havinghighest activity. The petroleum ether extract of parsley fruit and delima pericarps showed antifungal activity,whilst the other gave negative results. Methanol extract of parsley fruit, delima pericarps, and temu giringrhizomes shower the same activity, but the methanol extract of sambiloto herbs, tapak liman roots, and beluntas leaves of the same concentration showed no activity |
