Ishadiyanto Salim is an Agricultural Extension and Communication Study Program lecturer at the Department of Agricultural Socio-Economics, Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Gadjah Mada. My academic and research interests center around development communication, digital literacy, and agricultural extension services. Currently, my research focuses on integrating digital technologies in agricultural extension to enhance the effectiveness of communication and knowledge transfer among agricultural stakeholders.
My research explores innovative approaches to improving digital literacy among agricultural extension officers, particularly through developing and implementing tailored digital platforms, such as Lentera DESA. I aim to bridge the gap between traditional agricultural practices and modern digital tools to empower communities and foster sustainable development.
As part of my teaching responsibilities, I engage with undergraduate students, delivering courses encompassing communication strategies, rural development, and applying digital tools in extension work. I am also actively involved in mentoring students and collaborating with stakeholders to design community-based projects that address real-world agricultural challenges.
