Mohamad Yusuf is a distinguished scholar and lecturer within the Department of Tourism Studies, Faculty of Cultural Sciences, at Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM), Yogyakarta, Indonesia. He currently serves as the Chair of the Doctoral Tourism Studies Program, a position he has held since 2026. His leadership experience also includes a tenure as the Head of the Center for Tourism Studies at UGM from 2022 to 2025. Among his research interests are those related to tourism education, sustainable tourism, ritual studies, and halal tourism.
