Supriyati is lecturer at
Department of Health Behavior, environment, and social medicine, Faculty of
Medicine, Public health and Nursing, Universitas Gadjah Mada, Indonesia. She obtained her bachelor of
Social Science, Master of Science in Health Behavior and Promotion, and doctor
of health sciences from Universitas Gadjah Mada. In 2006 – 2008, she had
participated in the effective mentorship program for tobacco control of the
Canadian Coalition for Global Health Research (CCGHR) and Research for International
Tobacco Control/International Development Research Center (RITC/IDRC). In 2008,
she had participated in a Summer Course in Epidemiology and Field Research
Method at the International School of Public Health, Umea University, Sweden. Furthermore,
In 2010, she got a scholarship for Certified Program in Global Tobacco Control,
John Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. She also got scholarship for
the E-learning Course on Public Health Management Advanced form the Institute
of Public Health, Bengaluru India (2015). She is interested in the social
capital, health promotion, community empowerment, non-communicable diseases,
social movement, and social determinant of health.
