I am a lecturer in the English Department at Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM). I earned my bachelor's degree in English from the same program in 2005, and later pursued my Master of Arts in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (MA TESOL) at The Flinders University of Australia, graduating in 2009. My primary area of interest lies in pragmatics and intercultural pragmatics, with a focus on speech acts, politeness, and impoliteness, among other related topics. In addition to my academic work, I have extensive experience in teaching IELTS and ITP TOEFL preparation courses, helping students develop their language proficiency for international testing. Furthermore, I am also involved in translating various documents, including research articles, abstracts, and scales, facilitating clear and accurate communication in academic and professional contexts.
