I graduated from the Faculty of Agriculture UGM in 1988 and then applied as lecturer at the Agricultural Extention and Communication Study Program, Sosioeconomics Department, Faculty of Agriculture UGM. in 1992 I continued my study in Justus Liebig University in Germany. I took doctor degree on Agricultural Sociology and Extension and graduated in 1999. After that I joint the faculty curriculum team and we establish Agricultural Sociology course to give the wide perspective of sociology in agriculture. I teach this course with my colleague until now and also some course in agricultural extension topics, such as Introduction of Agricultural Extension and Communication, Adult Education, Social Psychology, Group Dynamics, etc. I also teach some courses on postgraduate program on Extension and Communication Development. I have a great passion on empowerment and educational research for community development. I also have interest on development of local resource too. Some publications on that research were published.
