Adi Sutrisno is a lecturer in English Literature at the Department of Languages and Literature at Universitas Gadjah Mada. He served as the Chair of the English Literature Program from 2015 to 2020 and was subsequently re-elected for the next term, which extends from 2020 to 2025. In addition to these roles, Adi Sutrisno currently holds the position of president of the English Studies Association of Indonesia (ESAI) for the 2022 to 2026 period. He completed his undergraduate studies in English Literature at UGM in 1989. Following this, in 1998, he earned a Master of Arts degree in TESOL from Deakin University, Australia. In 2001, he furthered his education by participating in the International Education Fellowship at Oberlin College, Ohio, USA. Later, in 2010, he joined University College London as a research fellow staff, and in 2015, he obtained his Doctor from Universitas Gadjah Mada.
